What is recorded here

Caldragh is a children's burial ground in County Cavan, Ireland. A rectangular area twenty-eight by fifteen metres, it still holds a slight bank of earth and stone on three sides, with large boulders scattered along the perimeter. The fourth side opens into a field bank marked by a modern trench. The shape suggests care, not accident: a boundary drawn around the smallest dead, left visible enough to be remembered and quiet enough to be forgotten.

Rectangular area (int. dims.28m NNW-SSE; 15m WSW-ENE) enclosed by a slight bank of earth and stone except at NNW where it is bounded by a field bank with a modern external trench. A number of large boulders lie along the perimeter of the enclosure on three sides. Recorded by Davies (1948, 110).
