The *Cairnmona* was a Scottish steamship lost in the North Sea in 1939; it sank during a storm, resulting in the loss of all 36 crew members. The vessel was en route from Leith to Rotterdam, carrying general cargo, and its wreck remains a significant site for maritime heritage in Scotland.
