What is recorded here

Cairn is a Neolithic ring barrow in County Cork, built around 3000 BC and still standing beside Skeagh. Its flat top spans nineteen metres, while a second barrow waits twenty metres north, as if the first had called a witness across the grass. People may have gathered there at midwinter, when darkness presses close and fire makes the stones deliberate.
