Fear Breige, the Hardy Man, still holds the boundary line above Ballaghmore, though pine roots have wrapped his stones and denied him sky. The forest took the marker back, not with violence but patience, growing through the gap where human hands had placed stone upon stone. What was built to be seen has become a rumor underfoot, remembered only by the shape of shadow the canopy casts at dusk.
