What is recorded here
Cairn is a small sub-circular stone pile in County Carlow, Ireland, sitting north of a larger companion and still visible from above. It is the kind of place where someone may have marked a boundary, a memory or a route before roads existed. The stones are not grand, but they are deliberate, and that much still shows.
Visible on aerial photograph (GSIAP R2/12). Small sub-circular cairn (diam. 4m) to the N of a second larger cairn (CW022-025----).
