Cairn is a small rectangular stone structure on a lower Tomies peak in County Kerry, built from thin slabs and small stones across a rocky outcrop. It measures under four metres long and stands barely sixty centimetres high, small enough to overlook yet distinct enough to mark the mountain. Its age remains uncertain, but its shape suggests deliberate human arrangement rather than natural collapse.

This small rectangular cairn, of dubious antiquity, is located c. 300m E of KE074-013---- on a lower peak of Tomies mountain. It measures 3.8m NE-SW x 2.7m NW-SE, and stands .6m high. Constructed on an area of rock outcrop, it is largely composed of thin slabs and small stones. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
