Cairn is an unclassified ancient monument in County Galway, Ireland. It stands as a forgotten marker of human presence, perhaps guiding travelers or honoring the dead before written records existed. The stones may have witnessed seasons, storms and generations of local life. Its exact purpose remains unknown, but the structure still belongs to the landscape and memory of the region.
