Cairn is an unclassified stone monument in County Mayo, Ireland. The Archaeological Survey of Ireland has not yet uploaded its details, leaving the site without a public description or known purpose. That absence does not diminish it; it withholds judgment. A cairn may mark a boundary, a burial, a path or a promise. It may also be a heap of stones dropped by people who had no name for the act. The missing record invites a wider imagination, not a smaller one.
