What is recorded here

Death and memory are not the same. They are opposites. This is a cairn, not a grave. A grave is a container for a body. A cairn is a tool for the living. It exists to be touched, changed, remembered and rebuilt. The dead do not need a marker. The living need one. That is the whole purpose.
