What is recorded here

Cairn is a grass-covered mound in a County Carlow garden, reduced to about one and a half metres high after people cut back its sides. A probable capstone of a hidden cist still appears at the south end, preserving the shape of an older chamber beneath domestic soil. The mound has survived ownership, cultivation and forgetting, waiting for curiosity rather than announcement.
