What is recorded here
Cairn is a ring-cairn in upland pasture west of the Glen of Clab, preserved inside a wide old field system. Its grass-covered stone circle is about 12.7m across, with an oval mound of collapsed limestone slabs at the centre and a slab wall touching the north-west edge. The shape suggests a place set apart for ritual, memory or boundary, though no surviving account says which.
In upland pasture W of the Glen of Clab and within an extensive field system (CL006-042001-). Noted by Richard Crimmins, 2024. A circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 12.7m) defined by a grassed-over stone wall (Wth 3-3.2m; H 0.75m). An internal oval cairn (3.6m N-S; 4.2m E-W; H 0.4m) has large limestone slabs that appear to have collapsed inwards. A slab wall aligned ENE-WSW abuts the site at NW.
