What is recorded here

Clearance cairns throughout Ireland mark removed stones, not buried treasure. They are the visible scars of field clearing, human effort made stone. In Galway they dot townlands like forgotten punctuation. What rages internally is not the shape but the intention behind it. People threw stones aside to grow food, and that act still stands witnessed.
