In rough grazing, on N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 24m) defined by stone wall (H 2.2m) E->WNW; scarp (H 4.2m) WNW->E. Small enclosure (L 10m; Wth 5m) cut into thickness of wall to WSW; closed by coursed stone wall (H 0.7m) to E. Possible remains of limekiln in scarp to E. Entrance (Wth 2.5m) to SE. Interior cut into hill on SW side and raised on NE side to compensate for hillslope. Setting of four stones in centre may not be contemporary with cashel.
