C17th HOUSE & BAWN (unlocated) in Clabby

C17th HOUSE & BAWN (unlocated)

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains in Clabby, County Fermanagh, but the lost seventeenth-century house and bawn still belong to the land. They may have stood behind a field edge, hidden beneath grass or forgotten beneath a farm lane. The absence does not erase the shape of the place. A household lived there, marked its boundary and left the ground changed before memory faded.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as C17th HOUSE & BAWN (unlocated). Recorded period: POST-MED; C17TH. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
