What is recorded here

No visible trace remains in Clabby, County Fermanagh, but the lost seventeenth-century house and bawn still belong to the land. They may have stood behind a field edge, hidden beneath grass or forgotten beneath a farm lane. The absence does not erase the shape of the place. A household lived there, marked its boundary and left the ground changed before memory faded.
