Burnt mound in Rossnashunsoge

In rough grazing, on the E bank of a stream and within a network of field boundaries (CO090-026001-). A D-shaped mound (7m E-W; straight E side: L 12m N-S; H 0.75m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The stream is eroding the mound. A pre-bog wall, part of the network of field boundaries (CO090-026001-), abuts the mound at E. Two fulachtaí fia (CO090-026006-, CO090-026008-) lie c. 40m to the N and c. 80m to the S, respectively.
