Burnt mound in Knockatemple

Located in wet, rush-grown pasture with a stream/drain immediately to NE, and rising ground to ENE. A grass-covered mound (12.7m NW–SE; c. 8m NE–SW; H 0.55m), which consists of two expanded lobes on either side of a central depression (W 1.4-2m), giving mound a roughly figure-of-eight shape in plan.
