Burleigh Castle, 6 Farmsteading stands in Perth and Kinross as a nineteenth-century farmstead, its boundaries marked to the nearest metre though no gate invites entry. The name suggests a castle that never rose, or a castle so forgotten it became a kitchen garden. Perhaps a farmer built walls around a memory instead of stone, proving that pride needs no architecture when it occupies an entire field.
