Burial in Tinnakilly (Loughkeen parish) is a burial in Tinnakilly (Loughkeen parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. Tradition claims a battle occurred at this ancient ford, but human bones found during canal cutting may simply mark a burial rather than a battlefield.

This record was listed in the non-statutory 'Sites and Monuments Record' (issued 1992) as 'Battlefield'. The source of the record is an entry in the OS Name Book (c. 1840) which recounts that 'Aughnagan . . . (ford of the heads) . . . an ancient ford on the Brosna no longer existing . . . Tradition says that a battle was fought here by a body of men belonging to Cromwell against another body belonging to one of the O’Carrolls of the …(?) and in cutting a canal there several human bones found adjacent.' There is no historical reference to a battle having been fought here and it is not an infrequent occurrence for the discovery of human bones to be interpreted as the location of a battle.
