Burial in Fossa

In the 1930s Capt. D. B. O'Connell recorded that a 'small built-in grave, presumed to be ancient, existed on the crest of the hill' immediately S of the standing stone (KE066-011----) (SMR file). O'Connell added that this grave had disappeared some years ago following the cultivation of the field (ibid.). Its precise location is not known.
