Cruach Na Cara, a burial site in County Galway, Ireland, is known for its human remains and associated features. The January/February 2014 storms exposed two disarticulated human bones projecting from a low section face near a dense shell deposit, revealing one of three previously unrecorded burial locations. This event highlighted the dynamic interaction between natural forces and archaeological preservation, bringing hidden histories into view. The site's significance lies in its contribution to understanding past human activities and burial practices in the region.

Eroding out of a previously recorded midden (GA076-023----) as a result of the January/February 2014 storms. Two possible disarticulated human bones are visible projecting (8-10cm) from a low section face (H 1m), some 0.6m S of a dense shell deposit. An upper bone projects at a depth of 0.4m below the ground surface, and a lower bone, some 15cm to its S, projects at a depth of 0.6m below ground surface.
