What is recorded here

Cloonmweelaun holds a burial ground where the dead have waited patiently for living feet to press the grass above them. The site belongs to County Galway, yet much of its history remains hidden from public view. What is known is that people were laid to rest there, and what is unknown is whether they were farmers, traders, or travellers caught by fever or frost. The ground does not need a date to be sacred. It only needs a body, a grave, and a sky wide enough to hold the loss.
