What is recorded here

Keel’s children’s burial ground stands on a western slope above the Caragh river valley, holding small upright slabs and fallen boulders within a crude stone wall. The word kileen suggests these were babies denied church burial, placed instead in marginal ground where love and exclusion met. Overgrowth still chokes the site, hiding a bullaun stone that local memory believes lies beneath the grass.
