St Curadan's Well is associated with St Curadan, a 6th-century Irish monk and missionary believed to have been active in the Scottish Highlands. The well is traditionally linked to healing and pilgrimage, with local folklore suggesting it was a site of spiritual and physical cure, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin.
