On a S-facing slope in pastureland, in the SW corner of a field. This bullaun comprises a roughly worked conglomerate boulder (0.8m N-S; 0.7m E-W; H 0.55m). The bowl (Wth 0.4m; L 0.35m; D 0.18m) is roughly oval in plan. A crude groove is visible on the W end of the boulder. The bullaun was brought to our attention by Dr C. Cunniffe. Likely dating to the early Christian period, bullaun stones were often used for ritual or ecclesiastical purposes, such as holding holy water or anointing oil. Local folklore may associate the stone with healing or saintly activity, though specific traditions for this site are not recorded.
