Bryn Bras Castle is a neo-Romanesque country house built between 1829 and 1835 for lawyer Thomas Williams. It later became a horse stud under Capt. Frank Stewart Barnard and an oil millionaire's residence before converting into apartments. The grounds still hold gladiator statues, a Pan figure in a pool, and a knot garden that invite visitors to imagine the private rituals of its owners.
