Brodie Castle Saw Mill stands in Dyke and Moy, Moray, a post-medieval timber works hidden beside the castle ruins. The mill likely fed the estate with boards for roofs, fences and carts, its wheel dragging water from the nearby burn. Men may have hauled heavy logs through muddy paths while sawdust coated their boots and clothes. The castle loomed above the workshop, watching ordinary labour continue long after knights stopped marching.
