Brodie Castle is a modern car park in Moray, Scotland, not an ancient ruin. The name still belongs to the castle, but the visible place is pavement, parking bays and the daily movement of vehicles. That distinction matters because it removes the assumption that the site must be a historic building or a closed monument.
