This blue commemorative plaque records: To commemorate the centenary of the British West Indies Regiment who trained in Seaford 1915-1916 Seaford Museum Recorded plaque organisation: Nubian Jak Community Trust.
The British West Indies Regiment was formed during World War I to include soldiers from various Caribbean colonies, playing a significant role in supporting Allied efforts particularly in East Africa and Europe.
