Single-span railway bridge carrying Cork/Cobh line over road, built c. 1860, altered c. 1880 with double track metal deck addition. Rock-faced limestone construction to supporting walls with cast metal bridge and parapet.

Well-executed aesthetically pleasing railway bridge serving as a reminder of the engineering achievements of the nineteenth century. Still in use and carrying the Cork/Cobh line, the survival of such structures adds significantly to the architectural heritage of the area.
