Booley hut in Larkfield is a grass-covered shelter, 4.3m long and 1.7m wide, defined by a low wall-footing on the western edge of the Tullyskeherny plateau. It overlooked the Bonet River valley, where a person may have tended cattle through summer before retreating inland when winter storms came. The rath fifty metres away suggests the land has been shaped and claimed for far longer than the thin stone line admits.

Located c. 20m from the W edge of the Tullyskeherny plateau, overlooking the NE-SW Bonet River valley to the W. Grass-covered area (int. dims 4.3m NW-SE; 1.7m NE-SW) defined by a low wall-footing (Wth 0.8m). Rath (LE011-066001-) is c. 50m to the SW.
