Group of four freestanding cast-iron bollards, c.1890, comprising fluted tapered shafts with moulded necking, and moulded capping. Set at junction of two roads.
This group of bollards, which forms a discreet feature in the streetscape, is a good example of early-surviving cast-iron work. The inscribed detailing to the shafts enhances the aesthetic appeal of the artefacts.
