Blervie Castle was a royal stronghold before the Dunbars rebuilt it around 1600, leaving a five-storey tower with gun loops and vaulted chambers. The Mackintoshes and later Duffs owned it until about 1776, when men demolished most of it to build Blervie Mains. The surviving tower still stands near Forres, preserving the shape of a house that outlived its owners and became a farm.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Blervie Castle as Farmhouse (period Unassigned), Farmstead (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Blervie Castle is a 16th-century tower house located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and was originally built by the Gordon family, a prominent Scottish noble clan. It is remembered for its historical association with the Gordons and as an example of early defensive architecture in northeast Scotland.
