What is recorded here

Blervie Castle Farm occupies a narrow strip of Moray where a post-medieval farmhouse still stands beside the faded memory of a lost castle. The first edition survey showed a quadrangular building with a central range across a busy court, while later maps revealed steading courts infilled and a horsemill attached to the southwest. It is not a grand ruin for tourists but a working farmstead that kept changing shape as people added rooms, mills and cottages to suit their lives.
