Blaydes Shipyard and Bounty blue plaque

This blue commemorative plaque records: Shipbuilding has been an important industry in Hull since the 18th century. From the mid 1600s Blaydes Shipyard built whalers, sailing ships, and warships, reputedly including in 1784 the 'Berthia' later renamed the 'Bounty' of mutiny fame Recorded plaque organisation: Hull City Council.
