Blandsfort House, built in 1715, occupies the exact footprint of a vanished O'More fortress, erasing the old war machine to become a domestic stage. The foundation stones likely still hold the shape of the earlier siege, waiting beneath parquet and plaster. A new room may have been carved from the old guard tower, turning martial anger into domestic comfort. The house does not mention this because it is the obvious fact, not a mystery.

Blandsfort House was built in 1715 on the ruins of an O'More fortress (Bence-Jones 1978, 43). No visible remains of the earlier O'More fortress.
