Blair Castle has guarded the Highland gateway since John Comyn built his tower there in 1269, later becoming the white palace of the Atholl family. It absorbed Jacobite blood, royal visits and Victorian grandeur, while the Atholl Highlanders still march in its name. The castle does not pretend to be small; it wears seven centuries like a coat and invites you inside.

Blair Castle was built by the Clan MacPherson in the 13th century and later held by the Earls of Atholl, becoming a significant seat of power in the Scottish Highlands. It is remembered for its historical role in the Jacobite uprisings and its well-preserved architecture.
