Blacknor North is a coastal rock feature composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 300 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The crag is notable for its sport climbing routes and its exposure of durable, jointed limestone strata that reflect ancient shallow sea conditions.
