Blackcastle Rings is a prehistoric promontory fort above the Blackadder Water in the Scottish Borders, marked later by medieval rig and furrow. Its earthworks still rise beside Deil's Neuk, preserving a place where people may have watched the water, kept stock, or defended a narrow neck of land. The name suggests a dark castle, yet no standing castle remains; only the shape of the hill and the memory of its rings are left behind.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Blackcastle Rings as Promontory Fort (prehistoric), Rig and Furrow (medieval) - (post Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
