Why this matters

Ben A'an is a prominent hill in the Ochil Hills range, rising to approximately 678 metres. It is composed mainly of Silurian greywacke and is known for its dramatic, near-vertical north face. The hill is a popular destination for hikers and is historically significant as a landmark in the Stirling area.
