Why this matters
Beinn Lora rises to approximately 700 metres and is part of the rugged landscape of the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute. Its geology is primarily composed of ancient Dalradian slate, typical of the region's mountainous terrain. The area holds significance for local hillwalkers and for its scenic value within the wider Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
