Beaufort Castle, East Lodge stands as a Post Medieval lodge and gate piers in Kiltarlity and Convinth, listed for its role as the entrance marker to a larger castle estate. The stone piers may have framed carriage wheels, servant footsteps and the smell of wet grass, while the lodge gave shelter to someone waiting for a visitor or keeping a fire lit through Highland rain.
