Bawn in Lydacan (kiltartan By.)

Bawn in Lydacan is a ghostly rectangle of grassed-over walls beside a Galway tower house, measuring fifty-five by forty metres. The stones never bonded to the tower, suggesting a separate enclosure where people once sorted livestock, stored grain, or kept secrets from the main hall. A faint internal wall still divides the space, preserving the shape of a forgotten room beneath the grass.
