Unlocated in Ballyheyland, Kilvahan, Pass, the lost battlefield may have swallowed carts, horses or men before the land was divided into farms. No marker remains to tell which side bled or why the field was closed to memory. The soil may still hold the shape of that violence, waiting for a boot or plough to disturb it.
