What is recorded here

Mounthill in Altilevelly, Ballyrickard, Ballyvern, Beg and Browndod marked a 1315 battle site where medieval lives broke against the land. The date and place are clear even when the weapons, wounds and fates have faded from memory. Stone, soil and distance still hold the shape of that violence.
