Battle of the Trent is a major battle site with a checked map point.
The Battle of the Trent was fought in 1643 during the English Civil War between Royalist forces under Prince Rupert and Parliamentarian troops led by Lord Fairfax. The Royalists were victorious, securing control of the Trent valley and advancing their campaign in the north, which temporarily weakened Parliamentarian hold in the region.
