Battle of Tettenhall

The Battle of Tettenhall (also known as Wōdnesfeld) was fought in 910 between Viking forces from the Danelaw and an allied army of Mercia and Wessex. The Anglo-Saxons won a decisive victory, halting Viking advances in the region and securing their control over parts of England during the ongoing conflict with Norse invaders.
