The Battle of Otterburn in 1388 was fought between English forces led by Henry "Hotspur" Percy and Scottish troops under Archibald the Grim, Earl of Douglas. The English won a decisive victory, which secured northern England’s border and enhanced the reputation of the Percys as formidable military leaders.
