What is recorded here

Immediately SW of ring-barrow (LA013-030001-). Marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map; a very small circular enclosure (max. diam. c. 10m). No visible surface remains, probably removed when the road to the W was built. Possibly a ring-barrow. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
