Barrow

The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 2 February 2012 Revised by: Claire Breen Aerial photographs (CUCAP ASW 27, GB89.W.16) shows cropmarks of two concentric well-spaced fosses enclosing very small area (est max. diam. of outer fosse c. 30m, est diam. of inner fosse c. 10m). Possibly multiple ring-barrow or ring-ditch. Cropmarks of possible trackways to W (CW016-092----) and to S (CW016-133----).
