This is the first of a pair of ring-barrows, the second of which lies immediately N. Although half of this site has been completely ploughed out, a small section of the external bank, fosse and inner area survives, to the N through W to SW. The external height of the bank measures 1.2m, the width of the bank at the base measures 4.4m and the internal height of the bank measures .8m. The width of the fosse measures 1.6m and .6m below the internal area. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
